Type /hummingbird followed by what you want, for example /hummingbird cat falling off table. Only you see the preview. Use Next to cycle through results, Send to post one to the channel, or Cancel to back out. Nobody else sees you browsing.

Each workspace controls how long a sent GIF stays before it vanishes.

• /hummingbird timer shows the current setting.
• /hummingbird timer 5 sets it to 5 seconds.

Valid range is 1 to 300 seconds. The default is 10.

HummingBird can only post in channels it has been invited to. In the channel you want to use, run /invite @HummingBird once. If a send fails, an uninvited bot is almost always the reason.

• "My GIF disappeared!" That is the whole point. GIFs are removed from the channel after the timer you set. Raise the timer with /hummingbird timer N if you want them to linger longer.
• Nothing posts when I press Send. Invite the bot to the channel with /invite @HummingBird.
• Note: deleting a message removes it from the channel timeline, but notifications and link previews may have already fired. It vanishes, it was not unsent.
